AGS debuts Glō UR43 cabinet, six launch titles planned

Gaming equipment supplier AGS has introduced a new video slot cabinet family called Glō (pictured), with its first model due to make its public debut in September at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the United States. The Glō UR43 cabinet features a 43-inch 4K portrait display and a 27-inch full-HD topper, as well as 16 controllable lighting zones that adapt to the colour scheme of individual game titles, according to a Tuesday press release. The new cabinet has what AGS describes as a “sculpted asymmetrical silhouette”, ambient illumination and a metallic finish. G2E 2026 is scheduled to take place from September 28 to October 1 at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas. Mark DeDeaux, AGS’ senior vice president and general manager for slots, said the Glō platform represented the “next evolution” of the company’s cabinet strategy. “It expands our portfolio alongside Spectra, giving operators another distinct platform, a dedicated pipeline of content, and greater choice in how they build the right mix for their floors,” he stated, referring first to another AGS cabinet. Mr DeDeaux added regarding Glō: “It’s a culmination of all the things we’ve learned, with a focus on modernising the cabinet.” AGS said the Glō UR43 would launch with three game families developed specifically for the new platform. The initial line-up includes “Rakin’ Bacon! Ultra Bankrollers” and “Rakin’ Bacon! Ultra Squeallionaire”. The “Roaring Express” game family comprises “Tiger General” and “Warrior Empress”, combining two hold-and-win mechanics with a train-themed presentation. The third game family consists of “Hu Bao Bei Tiger Riches” and “Hu Bao Bei Tiger Bloom”. AGS said the titles combine its three-pot mechanic with an expanding wild bonus feature. The supplier said the Glō cabinet family was intended to provide casino operators with additional choices in terms of visual presentation and game content on their gaming floors.
