Tabcorp has published its report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026, reporting a very slight increase in revenue and double-digit EBITDA growth. The company is now dead set on its proposed acquisition of BetMakers Technology, which could usher in a new phase of growth. Tabcorp’s FY Revenue Remained Stable, EBITDA Increased In its official report, Tabcorp said that its full-year revenue reached $1.9 billion (converted to USD), up 0.8% year-on-year. At the same time, the company’s group EBITDA experienced a 10.3% increase to $309.7 million. The company’s net profit after tax (NPAT), on the other hand, soared 26.5% to $33.2 million. The wagering and media division continued to be a cornerstone of the company’s business, reaching revenue of $1.76 billion for the period. The domestic wagering revenue experienced an increase of 0.9%, although the increase was partially offset by a 3.7% decrease in international wagering revenue. Officials attributed the international decrease to weaker trading in Hong Kong. Further details about Tabcorp’s financials is available in the company’s official report. The BetMakers Acquisition Is a Key Part of Tabcorp’s Strategy In the meantime, Tabcorp’s chief executive officer, Gillon McLachlan, commented on Tabcorp’s future plans, saying that the proposed acquisition of BetMakers Technology is now a main focus of his team. For reference, the agreement was announced earlier this month, with Tabcorp putting forward $188.4 million for the acquisition. Back when the proposed arrangement was announced, Tabcorp said that completing this deal would strengthen its business and tech stack. During the recent earnings call, McLachlan echoed this sentiment, saying that acquiring BetMakers is an opportunity to establish what he called a global B2B growth engine. He explained: “We believe with BetMakers, we can create new products faster and more cheaply, uplift capability in our workforce, and benefit from complementary assets to grow scale and diversify internationally.”
