A lucky player in Illinois has become the latest winner of the Lucky Day Lotto game’s jackpot, securing a six-figure prize. The jackpot has since been reset, allowing a new cycle to begin. Lucky Day Lotto Awards an $800K Jackpot The Illinois Lottery confirmed that a lucky player won the Lucky Day Lotto’s latest jackpot. The win happened last Thursday, October 8, and came from that day’s evening drawing. For reference, the Lucky Day Lotto game holds two drawings a day. The winner in question matched all five white numbers for the drawing in question, which netted them the $800,000 prize. For reference, the winning numbers were 11, 20, 21, 33, and 35. As of the time of this writing, the winner has yet to come forward to claim their money. In any case, the win makes them the 29th player to have won a prize of over $500,000 from the Lucky Day Lotto game this year. In addition to the jackpot, the October 8 drawing also awarded 42 prizes of $200 to players who matched four of the numbers, 1,584 prizes of $15 to players who matched three numbers, and 20,803 prizes of $1 to players who matched two. Following the incredible win, the game’s jackpot was reset. As of the time of this writing, it is standing at $400,000. Several Six-Figure Prizes Have Yet to Find Their Winners In other Lucky Day Lotto news, Illinois Lottery officials just reminded players that a $250,000 prize from the game has yet to be claimed. The win was scored almost a year ago when a lucky ticket-holder in Chicago matched all numbers required to score a win. However, if the prize is not claimed by November 7, it will expire, the lottery warned. Other unclaimed prizes that expire soon include a $200,000 Powerball prize that came from a ticket sold in Springfield. The winner has until December 15 to claim it. A separate Powerball payout of $200,000 has also remained unclaimed and will expire on December 17. The latter prize came from a ticket sold in Aurora. The Illinois Lottery added that a Lucky Day Lotto jackpot of $700,000 has also yet to find its way to its winner. The prize, which was won by a ticket-holder in Chicago, is set to expire on January 23. January 24, on the other hand, is the deadline for claiming a Powerball prize of $150,000. That prize came from a ticket sold in Evergreen Park.
