A lucky player in New Jersey has won a seven-figure prize from one of the New Jersey Lottery’s scratch-off games. Another similar win followed a few days later. Middlesex County Player Scoops Up $1M from $100 Million Diamond Dazzler The first win, which was among two seven-figure windfalls to happen in New Jersey last week, happened in Old Bridge, where someone purchased a winning $100 Million Diamond Dazzler scratch-off ticket. As it turns out, the ticket was worth $1 million, winning its holder one of the top prizes featured in the game. Lottery officials said that the winning $100 Million Diamond Dazzler ticket was sold on October 14. As of the time of this writing, there is no information about the winner and whether they came forward to claim their winnings. The New Jersey Lottery noted that the ticket was sold at Wawa #8315 in Old Bridge, 3600 US Highway 9. At launch, the $100 Million Diamond Dazzler game offered three top prizes of $1 million. The Middlesex County winner seems to have taken the final one, as the New Jersey Lottery’s site shows that there are no more top prizes remaining. At launch, the $20 game also featured 24 second-tier prizes of $10,000, 5 of which are still up for grabs. Monmouth County Player Wins $1M from Black Opal 7’s As mentioned, the win in Middlesex County was one of two seven-figure wins for the week. The previous one happened on October 16 when a lucky player in Monmouth County won a $1 million prize from a scratch-off ticket. The second $1 million win for the week came from a Black Opal 7’s scratch-off ticket that was purchased from Mak on Main Liquors in Asbury Park, 1500 Main St. For reference, Black Opal 7’s is another $20 game that, just like $100 Million Diamond Dazzler, features top prizes of $1 million. At launch, the game had three such prizes. As it turns out, the win in Asbury Park might be the first top prize to be won from Black Opal 7’s, as the lottery’s website shows that there are two more prizes of $1 million still in the game. Black Opal 7’s also featured 60 second-tier prizes of $10,000, 50 of which are still in the game. In other news, a player in New Jersey just won $2 million from Mega Millions.
